About Shoreham, NY
The incorporated village of Shoreham in New York's Suffolk County is part of the Town of Brookhaven. Officially known as the Incorporated Village of Shoreham, it had a population of 531 during the 2010 census. Wardenclyffe Tower, an important structure in its history, was built by Nikola Tesla, but was dismantled in 1917. The location of the Tower is now being transformed into a museum in commemoration of Tesla's life and work.
